Essential Earphones

Our Essential design & engineering team was undersized, scrappy, and in need of a quick USB-C Earphone solution to support the Essential Phone. Working with development engineers and overseas manufacturing partners I was tasked to redesign a great sounding off-the-shelf earphone package discovered by our team.

The Earphone HD & Mini are designed to meet Essentials language: a purposefully reduced aesthetic with respect to craft. The anodized machined metal housings give the product a sense of luxury, and the twisted audio cord sitting behind a frosted rubber coating compliments the targeted audiophile aesthetic.
