Essentials GEM phone case accessory line was designed for a variety of users. The options included: Clear TPU case for neutral protection, Premium Leather Case with “hidden tab” feature for added customization, and a Ring-Clip pack for added functionality/support.

Serving as project lead I saw these products thru from product definition, industrial design/UX processes, and hardware development to fully functioning units.

GEM leather cases include a cleverly integrated tab, supporting personalization and accessories for those who prefer to partake, and those who wish to have a simple, unobtrusive protective case.

Lifestyle accessory goods and additional phone personalization were gaining popularity, so for the GEM accessory line, the industrial design & marketing teams looked to merge these two trends together.

Essential clip accessories provided an extended experience. Enabling one-hand texting, universal quick attachments, and a secured bracelet or elegant leash.
